Project site in Judea and Samaria (

Today, Brigadier General Ben Hur Achvut, head of the Civil Administration, met with the heads of municipalities from Judea and Samaria, reported Arutz Sheva.

Civil Administration presented the projects undertaken to improve quality of life in Judea and Samaria. During 2017, the Civil Administration promoted over 200 programs. These projects included more than 17,000 housing units and industrial zones. Brigadier General Achvut said that many of the 200 projects dealt with transportation in Judea and Samaria and economic initiatives. He reported that there was a 41% increase in tourism at the nature reserve sites in Judea and Samaria, as part of promoting tourism in the region.

The Civil Administration also presented water line upgrades that were approved last year, demonstrating their efforts to increase the water supply, helping residents. Other projects included efforts against water theft and preventing environmental hazards.

The municipality heads were also shown plans for the future. The Civil Administration shared short and long-term plans to promote Judea and Samaria and improve the standard of living for the heartland’s population. The Civil Administration’s plans for the future of Judea and Samaria included projects on transportation, water, and industrial zones, as well as various projects boosting the economy.
