An Arab terrorist was shot dead early this morning after stabbing a 34-year old security guard at the entrance to the Jewish community of Karmei Tzur in Judea, just north of Hebron, the IDF reported. The attack occurred when a terrorist arrived by car at the entrance to the community and stabbed the security guard, Arutz Sheva reported. A second security guard on duty then shot and killed the terrorist.

The 34-year old guard was taken to Haddassah Ein Kerem hospital in Jerusalem. The guard was fully conscious as he was being taken to the hospital. Following the attack, a message was sent to residents of Karmei Tzur informing them of the attack and the injuring of the guard. The alert notified the residents stating the situation has been handled and that forces will be in the area to further monitor and preemptively search for terrorists plotting attacks, according to reports from Jerusalem Online.

The terrorist has yet to be identified by Israel’s security forces.

The attack comes 2 days after a 19-year old Israeli-Arab terrorist stabbed Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal, a 29-year-old resident of Har Bracha (Samaria) and one day after the last terrorist culprit in the murder of Rabbi Raziel Shevach of blessed memory was killed, in an early morning raid near Jenin (Samaria). Rabbi Raziel Shevach was murdered a few weeks ago in a terror attack while he was driving his car on Highway 60 near his home in Havat Gilad, in Samaria. Israel’s security forces conducted a complicated, sophisticated and patient operation to locate and neutralize the terrorists responsible for the murder in the weeks leading up to yesterday’s raid.

Unfortunately, the acts of Arab terror directed at Israeli’s living in Judea and Samaria are too many count and certainly to write about. We are fortunate to have the Israel Defense Forces and the other highly professional security forces of Israel who work tirelessly to ensure Israel’s security.
