Israeli security forces escort one of the terrorists caught, at their hideout, in Nablus, overnight on March 18th

The 19-year old Israeli-Arab terrorist Abed al-Karim Adel Assi who stabbed Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal to death at the Ariel (Samaria) Junction last month was caught by in Nablus (Samaria) overnight along with several other suspects who helped him hide. Al-Karim was arrested in a joint operation by forces from the Shin Bet, the Israel Police’s counterterrorism unit Yamam, and the Israel Defense Forces (IDF) Samaria Territorial Brigade, which was launched immediately after the attack, according to Ynet News. The video below, in Hebrew, shows the overnight raid and includes an interview with a soldier from the IDF.

Rabbi Itamar Ben-Gal, a 29-year-old resident of Har Bracha (Samaria), was an educator at a Bnei Akiva Yeshiva in Giv’at Shmuel. On February 5th, while the Rabbi was waiting at the bus stop at the Ariel junction, the Israeli-Arab terrorist approached him and repeatedly stabbed him in the upper part of his body. Rabbi Ben-Gal ran to a nearby bus that had stopped at a station nearby, while the terrorist chased after him. Rabbi Ben-Gal reached the bus, knocked on its door for help and then immediately collapsed, according to Ynet News. The terrorist then fled the scene with the help of an unidentified escape-driver.
